Introducing Dads reply to his daughter

Dear Daughter!

I have met  a lot of people over the years,
But none so charismatic as you!
You carry with you an Aura of light and energy,
This is the tool you have for life
Your Boldness and Joy are the gifts that you have,
And  I too love you with all my heart,
The memories  that I share of you ‘
Are in a special place in my heart,
And as you get older think back and remember!

Your “dad” will always love you!

To My Mum “n” Dad

 Introducing a message

This is a message placed inside a card’ from a little girl to her mum and dad
To   My Mum ”n” Dad

I love you

I don’t love’ however
A lot of people.
But  I just love you more than anything!
Your love is hot and humid,
Its sticks to my skin and make me glisten,
Not  t he  sweat of  all  the people  I have met over the years
You’re the ones who etched memory on my heart,
Your arms are my safe place,
Your heart is my comfort zone,
Your soul is my life!.

By The Fireplace

In Poetry by others on February 1, 2008 at 8:27 pm

By the fireplace

By the fireplace
There sits the ash,
Waiting to be seen,
I saw it! I blew it!
It blew up around my face,
Like a breeze of wind
I swept it up,
I opened the fireplace door,
It blew away,
So again I watched the ash,
By the fireplace.

Inspired by the fireplace
