Prologue
To live the immortal life
It’s just lines of words in purest fantasy.
What If
What if
If the world wasn’t round
And that Cadbury didn’t make creme eggs
That the sun never set,
Now what would we do if the moon didn’t glow
And your thoughts could move solid mass,
Read thoughts from within others
Travel back and forwards in time
But what would we do about walking on water not on thin ice
The trouble with this poem is it’s got no style,
Oh I would re-write it if I had but the time
No time the rabbit did say
Then the cheshire cat ran away
So I’m going to carry on writing this time
Now how would it be if we lived on mars
We love water and drinking alcohol nice!
But it looks so dry
I’m thirsty now
Thirsty for knowledge
Ooh the “Jack Daniels” did I say it was nice?
Drink just a bottle tonight!
What would you do with two hearts
You could give one away
One would beat and the other one rest
What would you do if you lived for 300 years
Like a god with languages to learn
To be born three times and the luxury to learn
Marry 20 times and still have the time to write a play
Have your vacations on the moon
Travel in space to any destination you care at least once every year
Do you think this would be a nice plan?
Take a vacation to mars
Jupiter would’nt be too far
In you’re microsoft time machine
Now what if cars could fly!
Now that would be nice
Dodging buildings
And no gatzo speed traps
Burning rubber would be false
Just flames burning holes in the floor
Driving fast would be a whole new world
Air police would be on our backs
The planet would appear to be too small
Would we be able to move
We would move to live on the moon
make our own oxygen
Build oceans of life
On this new world
And the planets in our solar system
Would they be ours
Would we own the universe
Do we own earth?
Or maybe some weird alien technology
Owns us.
What if
Two hearts
300 years
Flying cars
Born three times
The luxury to learn
It’s just
It’s pure
It’s fantasy
It’s alien technology
What If.
